Fri 15th: Day 3 – Amiens to Reims

A magnificent ride that will take you through some amazing scenery and eventually lead you through Champagne vineyards to the finish point in Reims.

Start: Riders are free to start when they wish. We recommend that the slower riders set off by 8am at the latest as it’s a long day.

Important Notes: Drop off your luggage with the transport guys before you leave as we change hotel tonight! Given the rural nature of our route, make sure you keep stocked up with fluids and snacks, there will be fairly long stretches without shops available.

Lunch: Nothing pre-arranged. There are two towns with plenty of shops/restaurants/cafes, one earlier in the route and one later; Noyon is about 42 miles and Soissons is about 66 miles.

Staying at: Novotel Tinqueux, Reims. Swimming pool is available!

Dinner: Nothing pre-arranged. Plenty of restaurants in Reims plus hotel restaurant is open until 11pm.
