Results are filtering through!
Our Juniors were magnificent!!
Really well done to George, William, Connor, Jackie, Leah, Daniel, Alexander, Ben, Daniel, Maisy, Elizabeth, Tom, Maddie, Katie and Luca
Great team spirit and wonderful 100 mile adventure in the New Forest-lifelong memories for dads and kids- lovely to see some new Juniors in the team
Many thanks to Timbo and Nigel for organising
Trevor, Martina, Martin, Lorraine, Mick and Nikki had a most eventful adventure-was National 3 Peaks not Yorkshire- and write:
Tower Hamlets SNT Walk
Trevor, Martina, Martin, Lorraine, Mick and Nikki began with Scotland’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, on Friday. Great start nailing BN and then onto England’s highest, Scarfell, in the Lake District. This is where the problems started as it turned out to be the wettest day of the year with four inches of rain in 24 hours!!! With huge local flooding and many roads closed it was impossible to get near Scarfell, let alone climb it, so had to work their way slowly down to Snowdon and tick that box
Huge effort with the ‘ GREAT BRITISH WEATHER ‘ throwing everything in their way
Many congratulations to the team
Mary and Jean nailed their Way of St. James de Santiago 100 mile walk-great original challenge and huge congratulations-hope blisters are healing! xx
Foxy is all ‘ tapered ‘ and raring to go for his first ( and only so he says ) Ironman this weekend
Training has been a challenge with the wonderful summer we’re having but know Foxy will dig deep-ask to see his Ironman Tattoo he’s booked for next week!!
