March already! So much going on in O2e-land, I’m getting loads of grief from JT Slim and the rest of the IT team for making these newsletters too long, but how does one cut out any of the following fabulous news items?

Event number 37 – Filthy at 40!
Cath Brazier is a great friend of Ollie and Anthea Rastall and has come along to a few O2e dinners over the years. Cath turns 40 this year and will be stretching her celebrations throughout the entire 12 months – perfect O2e material.
Inspired by the O2e story she is undertaking a year of being filthy – more specifically getting very muddy (calm down Roger) doing a running event during each month. She has already completed 10k runs in January and February; another 10k will be completed in March and then 13th April brings her first really muddy challenge with the Wolf Run on 13th April in Warwickshire. For the uninitiated WOLF stands for “woods, obstacles, lakes and fields” and it’s not for the squeamish! The full program from April onwards is:

Beardy Boy Al – 12 Marathons in 12 months

Registration now open for Big Kev’s bike ride

Fastest sign up ever with 20 peeps already registered in the first 3 days. Kev’s posse will be setting off on the morning of 12th Sept from central London and arriving some 200 miles later on the Friday evening at La Grande Arch de la Defense, in North-West Paris. Nol runs London Marathon for O2e
Nol Mara is joining Chloe Gibbs in the O2e line up for the best marathon in the world – London, 28th April. Nol (real name rumoured to be Noel O’Meara) is already up to 16-mile training runs and so far reports that all parts of his body are responding well to the gruelling endurance. Florries Fun Run for O2e
A fantastic initiative from one of our six 2019 charities – Florries looks after terminally ill children, allowing them to be treated and cared for in their own homes. Florries CEO Jo Turner has been working with our very own Caroline “Cazzer” Kiely-Smith to organise a 32-mile sponsored walk around the Aylesbury Ring.
